Prizes ADG 2019 - photo contest

The aim of the project of Contemporary Photography ADG 2019 is to create a meeting, during the opening night of the exhibition, between the artists and the public (IN/OUT) to give them the opportunity to talk about their photographic projects.

The winners will be announced during the opening of the final exhibition.

The competition provides prizes for the circulation and promotion of contemporary photography:

1) the exhibition of all the selected finalists in Florence or Prato with setting curated by the organization. The choice of location will depend on the volume of the works to be exhibited;

2) the three winners will be given the opportunity to have a personal exhibition curated by the organization;

3) special mentions;

4) the catalogue of the exhibition for all the finalists;

5) the possibility for each author participating at the photo contest to be included among the authors of AD Gallery.

The aim of this project of Contemporary Photography is to create a meeting, during the opening night of the exhibition, between the artists and the public to give them the opportunity to talk about their photographic projects.

It is not intended as a technical or schematic explanation of their photographs and of the artistic project, but a moment of slowing down of time, of tasting.

In this way, the third dimension of words and emotions is going to be added to the two dimensions of the image.

In this way, their explanation becomes an element of further evaluation of the work and a direct involvement of the visitor in the Gallery.
